Happy Habits is honored to partner with the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation in a shared mission to uplift and empower youth throughout Southern California. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities that inspire young people to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially through impactful community programming.
Our partnership includes initiatives such as Girls Sports Day, an annual track and wellness event that encourages girls to embrace confidence, movement, and healthy living; Peer Support Circles, where youth find safe spaces to share their experiences and build emotional resilience; Skill-Sharing Workshops, which connect young people with professionals who inspire them to dream bigger and explore new career paths; and Creative Sessions, where youth discover the value of self-expression, craftsmanship, and turning small ideas into meaningful accomplishments.

These programs are more than events—they are opportunities to build confidence, strengthen communities, and remind every child that they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving great things.

Together, Happy Habits and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation are working to raise funds for a new brick-and-mortar community center that will serve as a permanent home for these life-changing programs. This space will provide youth with a safe and welcoming environment where they can develop strong minds, healthy bodies, meaningful relationships, and positive outlets through sports, recreation, mentorship, and creative expression. Our hope is to create a lasting legacy that continues to empower generations of young people and helps every child realize their full potential.
